+After the successful defence and approval of the research Proposal (RSCH 1), students move to Phase II and start registering the Dissertation course (RSCH 2) in the spring and fall semesters for two years. Normally, RSCH 2 is completed within two academic years.

. The students who cannot complete theri dissertation successfully within the two-year period can continue working on their dissertations within the allowable period of the program. However, in that case, the students must maintain their active status in the DBA program by registering in Extended Dissertation credit hours RSCH 2(Exi) successively every Fall and Spring semesters until the successful completion of the dissertation during the allowable period of the DBA program. In RSCH 2(Exi), The extra registered hours in RSCH 2(Exi) are NOT counted towards the normal DBA credit hours, and the i can go from 1 to 6.
